Colleen Boveri came to yoga in 1991 after an auto accident left her with lingering discomfort in her neck and spine. After trying several teachers she finally found one that not only helped with the pain, but also changed the way she thought and lived. She has devoted her life to studying and learning ways to help individuals heal and live a more productive life. Colleen is certified through The Temple of Kriya Yoga, Judith Hanson Lasater (as a Certified Restorative Teacher), and John Friend. She has taken over 600 hours in Yoga teacher's training and continues to apply her yoga knowledge in the art and practice of Thai Yoga massage. Colleen has studied the following styles of Hatha Yoga: Tom Myers, Anatomy Trains, Yoga for Structural Balance, Yoga Align, Anusara, Iyengar, Restorative, Ashtanga and Power. Her students enjoy her balanced and non-intimidating approach to teaching Hatha Yoga and her desire to make yoga accessible to all people.

Kelly Lewis has been massaging at Seeking Solace Yoga for almost a year now and full time for over 8 years. She specializes in deep tissue and prenatal and went through doula training for extra knowledge on safety and techniques and understanding of what the body goes through and can need during different stages. Scheduled appointment times are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 – 4 at Seeking Solace Yoga. Chair massage on Wednesday from 10-4 on the Sprint campus and Thursday evenings from 6-10 p.m. at TableTop Game and Hobby. Sarah Uchytil has been practicing yoga for the past 15 years. In June she completed the Maya Yoga Ashtanga Teacher Training. Her beginning to intermediate yoga classes on Saturday morning at 9am provide an opportunity to learn the primary series as well as deepen your yoga practice. Sarah empowers and supports you to grow and stretch yourself each class. She encourages her students to practice yoga both on and off the mat. Yoga is not only about the physical benefits you receive during class but it’s also about connecting with your breath throughout your day, starting each day with an intention and expressing gratitude and appreciation. She is also available by appointment for individual or small group yoga sessions.

Chisa was always interested meditation even a young age; she began interested in Yoga and began studying Yoga and Qi Gong in her home town of Tokyo in Japan.
In 1994 she moved with her family to Kansas City, and focused on homeschooling their two children. She explored yoga a number of years ago to improve her severe seasonal allergies and general health. "Within two years I was able to give up allergy medications with yoga and a few changes in diet. My health improvement was huge," she said.
Chisa loves to share what she has learned in her classes. She has continued studying yoga even though she earned her 500 hour level certification. One area of focus is "Yoga for Healthy Ageing" for all ages.
Rahil has been belly dancing for twelve years and teaching belly dance for four years. Her classes emphasize strength and flexibility, proper technique and posture, and sisterhood. Belly dance strengthens the arms, legs, and core, and increases balance. Rahil's ongoing beginner's class is held every Monday at 6:30 pm and is open to new students. Cost is $10 for a drop in. If you are brand new to dance, check out her four-week Intro to Belly Dance Session, to be held Sunday afternoons in October.

Tracy Ochester, PsyD, RYT is a licensed psychologist, Qualified Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Teacher, mindfulness coach, and registered yoga teacher. Being a devoted ashtangi and vipassana practitioner, mindfulness practices, such as yoga and meditation, are an important part of her work and daily life. Krishnapriya Pramod, Artistic Director, Chilanka School of Dance Krishnapriya was trained in Indian classical dance forms of Bharatnatyam and Mohiniyattam for over 15 years in the vibrant and culturally rich state of Kerala, under the tutelage of Gurus Smt. Kalakshetra Vilasini and Sri Kalamandalam Gopinath. She has performed extensively and organized many events both in India and the US. She began teaching classical dance at a very early age for the kids in her community and has been following her desire for teaching ever since. Apart from Bharatnatyam and Mohiniyattam, she has won many artistic awards and accolades in a variety of Indian dance forms such as Ottanthullal, Thiruvathira, Oppana, Margamkali, Kathak, and Folk dances at various events.
After completing her Bachelors in Physics, she went on to follow her passion in Education by completing her Bachelors in Education from Mysore University.
