About Our Studio
Seeking Solace Yoga Studio provides personalized instruction for all ages, skill levels, and physical conditions. We offer a safe and nurturing learning environment that creates the fertile soil for emotional, physical and spiritual growth. The studio and its certified practitioners offer Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Hatha Flow, Chair Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage, Pilates, Myofascial Release Therapy, and other natural, healing arts.
New Location: Seeking Solace Yoga Studio is conveniently located in Overland Park, Kansas just off of 91st and Metcalf at 9200 Glenwood, Suite 100.
New Workshops and Classes!
Restorative Workshop on Sunday, September 21st - 2 to 4 p.m. This workshop provides a great retreat from our fast-paced lives! In restorative yoga, less is truly more. The focus will be on doing fewer postures while receiving maximum benefit. We will hold the posture by use of props which create comfort and support, allowing the breath to deepen and tightly-held muscles to release their grip. This workshop will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed! We need 8 people to sign-up by Sept. 15th. $25 per person payable in advance.
Pilates Functional Core on Your Lunch Hour! by Gillian Hansen, Fluid Motion MFR. A Pilates inspired mat class which focuses on balance and strength of both your stabilizing core and moving core muscles. Wednesdays,12:00 - 12:45 p.m. Please bring a mat. $60 for the 4 weeks, need 6 people to sign up.
