Gabby leads with her heart and lives every day in gratitude, passionately educating others on how to use diet and lifestyle to heal, prevent disease, and live vibrantly.
Gabby, a certified Yoga instructor, is excited to offer a LOVE donation based class on the first Friday of each month in 2024 at Seeking Solace Yoga Studio! This class will take place at 12:30 p.m. (perfect to sneak in on your lunch break! 😉). This will be a “peak pose class”, meaning all of the poses in the yoga sequence are focused towards preparing you for a particular pose, usually the most challenging of the class – then, that pose becomes the Peak Pose. This is Gabby’s favorite style of class because you always walk away learning and trying something new!
The Nurturing Benefits of Cacao
Seeking Solace Yoga has been working with LOVE CACAO, a local business that provides a nutritional and nurturing alternative to coffee. The cacao they import is of the highest quality and makes a delicious warm drink when blended with your favorite milk variety.
Cacao was revered in Central and South America as the “Food of the Gods.” This sacred plant was used in ceremonies, events, and considered so special that it was reserved almost exclusively for the highest class of citizens.
There was even a time when cacao was used as currency! Money literally grew on trees.
Fast forward to now, and we realize how beneficial cacao is to us every day. As one of the highest nutrient density foods on the planet. In sacred ceremony. In social gatherings, in creating communities.
It is both the sacred and the nutritional aspects of cacao we wish to bring forward to now. Visit the LOVE CACAO website for more information.
